Imphal–Japan Harmony Week featured an engaging session on “Skilling and Working in Japan.” The discussion covered opportunities under the SSW and TITP programmes, caregiving and careers for scientists and researchers. Participants also learned about Japanese-language training, workplace culture and the skills required to work in Japan. The session highlighted the need for a Japan Information and Resource Centre at the Imphal Peace Museum. Possibilities for Japanese investment and sister-city partnerships with Manipur were also discussed. The programme provided young people with practical guidance and opened new possibilities for Manipur–Japan cooperation.
